At the gateway of the magnificent Bogong High Plains Howmans Gap Alpine Centre offers exhilarating alpine experiences for all seasons. Winter attractions include snow sports at the Falls Creek resort through to backcountry ski touring on groomed and ungroomed trails. The summer provides the opportunity to access the unique high plains environment and visit cattlemen's huts, spectacular panoramic views, snow gums and wildflowers, rocky valley dam, plus a myriad of walking options including the Victorian Alpine Walking Trail. The Howmans Gap Alpine Centre provides for the new and veteran high plains visitors a comfortable medium for people to experience the High Plains environment.
