Kogakuro is a Japanese style ryokan where you can relax and enjoy your holiday in the beautiful surroundings of Myoko.

Located near the base of the Akakura Onsen ski and snowboard resort in Myoko (Niigata Prefecture), Kougakuro is a Japanese-style ryokan offering traditional hot springs and a Japanese-style vacation experience.

Relax and enjoy our traditional Japanese style baths near the center of the onsen village of Akakura Onsen (with over 190 years of history). The ski hills are just 2-3 minutes walk from the hotel.

New Tashiro Naeba Gondola : A new 5481 meter Gondola spanning from the Naeba to Tashiro resorts will open for the first time this season. The Gondola – claimed to be the longest in the world is an 8 seater and the journey lasts about 15 minutes.

Tashiro Lifts : A new hooded quad lift (#2) and #3 Romance lift begin operation this season, along with another gelende and new off piste zone.
