Guest House vingt-neuf is a wooden-themed Swiss-style small hotel. Located right in the middle of the beautiful surroundings and nature of Yuzawa, it is a perfect place to relax and enjoy some time out. We offer a comfortable environment, warm service and good food. Hotel Kofukan is in the heart of Myoko Onsen. By car it is 3 minutes from the national highway, or from JR Myokokogen station where the hotel`s microbus can by arrangement pick up arriving guests. The hotel offers mostly Japanese style rooms and delicious Japanese food..
All four seasons can be enjoyed here at Myokokogen. All in easy reach, are onsens, a golf course, beautiful mountains and lakes, and 40 minutes away, the Sea of Japan. While in the summer and Autumn there is wonderful trecking to be done, the winter is the busiest season in Myokokogen.
The ski areas in and around Myokokogen have an average of 200cm or more of snow and superb facilites for snowboarding, skiing, cross-country skiing, and even cross country skiing and trecking. Among the ski areas in easy reach of Myoko Kogen is Suginohara (see resort review). This offers ideal slopes from beginner to the most advanced skier or snowboarder
A free microbus is available to and from Suginohara ski field during the winter. Discount tickets are also available from the hotel.
You can enjoy a beautiful view of the mountains in any season while relaxing in the natural hot spring waters from Mt. Myoko. Also open is a private hot bath for couples or families.
