The Mountain
The highlands of Appi Kogen sit right next to Towada-Hachimantai National Park in northeast Honshu. Amazing powder covers all of Appi's 828-meter (2716.5-ft) vertical from peak to base. Appi's 21 trails are easily and comfortably accessible by two eight-person gondolas and three high-speed, detachable, hooded quad chairs. And you can't beat Appi Kogen's variety: we have everything from bunny slopes to a 5.5-km (3.4-mi) cruiser to steep and deep!

The Green Season
The off-season for skiing is the on-season for golf, tennis, and much more. Try 36 holes of great golf, or work up a sweat on of our 19 tennis courts.
Appi's nature school lets you get out and about in the mountains with safe and fun guided programs.
The Hotels
Appi's hotels boast a capacity of 4,100 guests and a fabulous array of facilities to fit any preference or budget. And don't forget to wash away your fatigue at one or both of our two natural hot springs!

The first night’s stay at Mutti always includes a relaxing full-course dinner, with five delicious varieties of appetizers, as well as soup, fish, meat, and dessert. Guests staying for an additional night will be served a refreshing Japanese dinner. (We also serve vesitalian foods!)
